The next meeting of the Working Group on Financial Markets Development and Accesibility of Loans has been held on February 05, 2020, 15:00 through online platform “Zoom”.

The next meeting of the Working Group on Financial Markets Development and Accesibility of Loans of the Commission on Business Environment and International Rankings has been held on February 05, 2020, 15:00 through online platform “Zoom”.

Information on the activities to be implemented by the Working Group in the Action Plan for 2021 and  discussions on the joint coordination of the executive bodies on the activities have been provided. Moreover, forming an appropriate infrastructure to enhance an accesibility of SMEs to alternative financial markets; optimizing tax concessions for startups and formation of the legal framework and guarantee mechanisms for venture capital and crowdfunding have been discussed in the meeting organized through online platform “Zoom” due to COVID-19 global epidemic virus.

At the end of the meeting held in the format of mutual discussions, it has been decided to summarize the proposals on the issues highlighted during the meeting and put them in the draft form and submit to the Secretary of the Comission within the state-business dialogue through the working group.

The Head of the Secretariat of the Comission, representatives of the Central Bank, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Finance, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency, Azerbaijan Microfinance Association, Azerbaijan Banks Association, “Pasha Bank” OJSC, “Dentons”, “Ekvita” and “Ernst & Young Azerbaijan” have participated at the meeting.
