Activities implemented on state registration of legal entities was discussed

An online meeting was held jointly organized by the State Tax Service (STS) under the Ministry of Economy and the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) on December 05, 2024. The meeting, dedicated to innovations in the field of state registration of commercial legal entities, was attended by business entities, SME friends, and startups.

Aynur Hajiyeva, representative of STS Taxpayer Registration and Accounting Department, made a presentation and drew attention to a number of innovations within the framework of the roadmap implemented under the "Business Entry" indicator of the World Bank Group's "Business Ready" report.

During the presentation, information was provided on modern registration systems created to promote entrepreneurship and start a business, measures related to the electronicization of business, and the advantages of the online registration system.

It was stated that the purpose of introducing online registration is to simplify business start-up procedures, save time, ensure transparency, minimize communication with entrepreneurs, and increase citizen satisfaction. The meeting participants were informed on the results achieved in the field of electronic registration of taxpayers, electronic registration of foreign-invested LLCs, and the positive dynamics of digitalization in this area, and their questions were answered.

It should be noted that the activities of "Business Entry" working group of the Commission on Business Environment and International Rankings of the Republic of Azerbaijan are managed by the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy.
