Discussion on the draft of the New Roadmap held at the Meeting of the "Physical Infrastructure" Working Group

The next meeting of the "Physical Infrastructure" working group of the Commission on Business Environment and International Ratings was held on July 16, 2024, in a video conference format.

During the meeting, reports were presented on the activities carried out in the first half of 2024 by representatives of the Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, State Statistics Committee, and Azerbaijan Railways CJSC, as outlined in the Action Plan 2024.

At the same time, information was provided about the activities of the “Subgroup on Stimulating the Circulation of Eco-friendly and Safe Transportation Vehicles and Improving Infrastructure” within the Physical Infrastructure Working Group. This includes expanding the usage of electric vehicles, establishing necessary infrastructure with energy recharge stations, preparing specialists for technical service and maintenance of motor vehicles, conducting technical inspections and state technical examinations of electric vehicles, and works conducted in the direction of mandatory insurance of civil liability of vehicle owners.

In conclusion, the necessity of continuing the implementation of measures outlined in the Working Group's Action Plan was emphasized.
