The status of implementation of measures to stimulate the use of environmentally clean and safe vehicles and improve infrastructure was discussed

On May 3, 2024, the next meeting of the Subgroup on "Stimulation the use of environmentally clean and safe vehicles and improving the infrastructure" of "Physical infrastructure" working group of the Commission on Business Environment and International Ratings was held in the video-conference format.

Within the framework of the meeting, the subgroup member institutions presented a report on the work carried out until 01.05.2024 on the measures implemented in the "Road Map for 2024 on stimulating the use of environmentally friendly and safe vehicles and improving infrastructure".

In addition, during the reports on the projects presented to the Commission, the questions of the participants of the meeting were answered, and general discussions were held regarding the implementation of the Road Map and the upcoming issues.

In the debriefing meeting, information was provided on the latest innovations and priorities in the field of creating the necessary infrastructure for the use of environmentally friendly and safe vehicles.

It was noted that proposals for increasing financial availability for the acquisition of ecologically clean and safe (new) vehicles are being prepared, and specific proposals in this field will be submitted for consideration in the near future.

At the end of the meeting, the head of the Secretariat of the Commission, Vusal Shikhaliyev, expressed his gratitude to all the participants, positively evaluated the initial results achieved in the implementation of the Road Map, and also drew attention to the need for more intensive implementation of the Road Map's phased implementation process.

 At the same time, the members of the group were tasked to inform the public about the work done within the framework of the working group and the achievements.
