Meetings were held on preparation of "Action Plan" with the working groups of the Commission on Business Environment and International ratings

On 24-27 October, the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication held discussions with working groups on increasing the availability of business and investment environments in the country and further improving the country's rating at international ratings.In the discussions  the process of drafting proposals to improve the legislation and administration and to undertake other necessary measures in this direction has been continued in order to ensure the optimal profitability of entrepreneurial activity and to create a business environment based on competitive principles, increase investment attractiveness of the country and further improve Azerbaijan's position at international ratings. The discussions highlighted that, as a result of the economic reforms led by President Ilham Aliyev, new opportunities were created to increase the business environment and improve the country's position in international ratings. The exchange of views on the reform trends took place in Azerbaijan during a few days of meetings, the main directions of these reforms were discussed and the action plan for the next period was spoken. The importance of competitive environment in the country to analyze the competitive environment, develop entrepreneurship and improve its competitiveness was also emphasized in order to achieve progressive regulatory and law enforcement practice.During the discussions at the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication it was decided that the working groups would continue to function continuously.In this regard, as a result of the internal discussions of working groups the initial structure of the "Action Plan" to be drafted was discussed.

Note that,the Regulation on the “Business Environment and International Rating Committee” was approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated August 27, 2018. Activities of the Commission and Commission Secretariat, to involve local and foreign experts in the preparation, preparation and implementation of programs and projects to address the issues that will improve the position of Azerbaijan in the business environment and international ratings.
