The next virtual meeting of the "International trade" Working group was held in video-conference format

The next virtual meeting of the "International trade" Working Party under the Commission on Business Environment and International Ratings was held in video-conference format, on December 14, 2023,

Discussions were held regarding the implementation of the items provided for in the Roadmap of the Working Party with the participation of representatives of the relevant state institutions and the private sector at the meeting. Also, the views were exchanged on the updated version of the responses to the survey on the International trade indicator of the “B-Ready” project of the World Bank and the improvement of the country's position in the relevant ratings in the future. In this direction, the Chair of the Working Party assigned relevant tasks and gave some recommendations on the steps to be taken in the future.   

During the meeting the participants were also informed about the subgroup of "Increasing the efficiency of state services on cross-border trade" created under the leadership of the State Customs Committee within the "International trade" Working Party in order to carry out improvements in the relevant field and it was reported that currently the work on the preparation of the Roadmap of the subgroup is in progress.

Finally, some recommendations were given by the Chair of the Working party and Head of the secretariat of the Commission on the future activities of the Working Party, including the ongoing work on the preparation of the Roadmap for the upcoming period, and discussions were held on a number of items to be included in the relevant Roadmap.
