National Business Development Forum was held

At the forum attended by representatives of public and private companies, the activities carried out by the Working Group on “Property Registration and Leasing” within the World Bank Group’s “Business Enabling Environment” project were discussed, along with the responses provided by private sector representatives to the survey questionnaires under the “Business Ready” report.

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Caspian Energy Club, Telman Aliyev, noted that the meeting would be beneficial for discussing issues faced by the business community.

Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the Public Legal Entity “State Cadastre and Register of Real Estate”, Elshad Mammadov, provided information on new reforms in the field of the state register and cadastre of real estate, as well as on the steps taken towards entrepreneurship development, accessibility of public services, and enhancing transparency in the business environment.

Presentations were delivered at the event on the topic of “Location of Business (Property Registration)” indicator, based on the methodology of the “Business Ready” report.

During the forum, issues of interest to entrepreneurs were discussed, participants’ proposals were heard, and their questions were answered.
