“Public-Private Dialogue Platform and Portal of the Commission on Business Environment and International Ratings” Presentation

The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication conducted the conference on presentation of Public-Private Dialogue Platform and new internet Portal of the Commission on Business Environment and International Ratings.

Commission on Business Environment and International Ratings will provide electronic management through Azranking.az portal. Coordination of the activity of working groups functioning within Commission, organization of meetings, exchange of internal information and appropriate documents will also be realized via new platform. Moreover, all information on international ratings, methodology, assessment, year-by-year analysis system for comparing rating of countries, involved in the assessment, with Azerbaijan and other functions are available in the Azranking.az portal. Portal aims to provide transparent and accessible dissemination of information to the public and to the media on the issues considered and the decisions taken at the Commission meetings. The Portal, which operates in Azerbaijani and English languages, include sections with general information about the Commission, legislative base, activity, ratings, comparison, online application and contacts.

The presentations on the reforms that are being carried out under the guidance of President Ilham Aliyev in such spheres as protecting investors’ interests, electronic court, business starting, construction permits, connection to electricity supply networks, access to financial sources, property registration, taxes and customs were demonstrated during the Conference on “Presentation of Public-Private Dialogue Platform and New Internet Portal of Commission on Business Environment and International Ratings”.

Executive Director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication Vusal Gasimli, Chief Consultant of the Service of Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan on Economic Policy and Industry Issues Vusal Shikhaliyev, Deputy Minister of Economy Niyazi Safarov, Deputy Minister of Justice Azer Jafarov, Country Officer of the International Financial Corporation Aliya Azimova, Deputy Minister of Taxes Ilkin Valiyev, Deputy Energy Minister Samir Valiyev, Deputy Chief of the State Customs Committee Javad Gasimov, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture Dovlatkhan Dovlatkhanov, Head of the State Service for Registration of Real Estate Hikmat Mustafayev, President of National Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan  Mammad Musayev, Country Managing Partner for PwC Azerbaijan Movlan Pashayev, President of AMCHAM Nuran Karimov and World Bank Country Manager for Azerbaijan Naveed Naqvi delivered speeches at the conference.  In addition, new issue of the “Review of Reforms” of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication was also presented during the event.
