The presentation of the Road Map for 2024 related to the "Business location (registration and rental of property)" indicator was held.

On July 29, 2024, the next meeting of the "Real Estate Registration and Leasing" working group of the Commission for Business Environment and International Ratings was held in the administrative building of the "State Cadastre and Registry of Real Estate" public legal entity under the State Service of Real Estate Issues.

The presentation of the Road Map for 2024 on the implementation of improvements and communication in the relevant field related to the "Business location (registration and rental of property)" indicator of the "Business Ready" report of the World Bank Group was held at the meeting. Also at the meeting, the steps taken towards the creation of the "Electronic Registry and Cadastre of Real Estate" information system and upcoming priorities" and the status of implementation of the measures decided in the Minutes of the previous meeting of the working group were reported and discussed.

In the meeting attended by representatives of the private sector, Vusal Shikhaliyev, head of the Secretariat of the Commission, gave general information about the directions of activity of the "Property registration and lease" working group and the main goals ahead in this context.

Rustam Shahbazov, the deputy head of the Real Estate Affairs State Service, in his speech pointed out that a diagnostic matrix was prepared for the purpose of analyzing the level of preparation of the regulatory framework in the field of "Business location (registration and lease of property)".

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Management Board of the public legal entity "State Cadastre and Registry of Real Estate" Nigar Alimova said that within the framework of the implementation of the new Road Map, the regulation of the current situation related to arbitrary constructions, the creation of a database on the market prices of real estate, and permission to build on land owned by a third party the preparation of normative projects providing for the regulation of the relations of the owners of the given real estate object with the landowners and other important issues will be ensured.

At the end of the meeting, it was emphasized the importance of implementing the Road Map measures on time, quality and substance.
